A neighborhood definitely is not complete until you have a fantastic family like the Hause’s nearby. Lucikly, we moved into the right area.
Our neighbors hired me to take their family photos this year, and I could not have had better clients. We had a lot of fun at our photo shoot, and I was able to catch some fantastic images of this very active, loving family!

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to photograph my friend’s STUNNING daughter, Morgan. I think everyone has come to the conclusion she should be in Hollywood, or at LEAST on the news…she just the “the look!”

There was another full house on Friday in the Cat and Kitten room at the Humane Society! Here are the sweeties I captured, and ready to be adopted!
Aretha is a one year old sweetheart with an amazingly soft and fluffy coat. She’s a little shy but once she warms up, she’s such a ham!
Azura just turned 2 years old. She is Miss Cora’s best buddy (see Cora below). They are both a little on the shy side, but super sweet!
3 year old Bear is a sweet tabby. He may be more of a TEDDY bear, as he’s super sweet and cuddly!
4 year old Benjamin definitely still has his “kitten” attitude! He was a ball of love and cuteness, residing in Catopia!
Oh Boots….she’s an older lady (11 years) who needs some extra loving, as she’s an extra sized gal. Super sweet and ready for a loving home!
This is Azuras bestie Cora, also a little shy, but she definitely was loving on a fellow Humane Society volunteer as you can see here!
3 year old Eboni is a SUPER sweet gal, sure to give unconditional love to whoever is lucky enough to take her home!
12 year old Garfield may be an older guy, but he’s still got plenty of love and spunk! Come see him at the Humane Society!
This is Houdini, you may remember him from last week…the one buried in the blanket! He was out and about this time in Catopia, and allowed me to snap some photos.
Theo is a super curious kitten up for adoption! He is housed with kittens you saw on last weeks post, Jeanette and Brittany.
Mr Freeze resides in Catopia. He is 5 years old and is blind in one eye. Doesn’t stop him from being a super handsome fella!

I haven’t blogged in far too long!
There were a LOT of cats at the Humane Society on Friday…so many that I’m probably going to have to start going a couple times a week to get them all! After all, it is kitten season, so there will probably be an influx of cats up for adoption in the coming months.
This is Barbie…a total darling and super playful, as you can see! Not to mention she has just a gorgeous coat!
1 1/2 year old Piper was snoozing when I visited her in Catopia, but popped her head up for a few beautiful shots!
8 year old Rajah may be an older gentleman, but he still has plenty of love and spunk to go around!
I’ll be the first to tell you, it’s difficult to photograph a sweet cat when all they want to do is be up near you snuggling! 1 year old Wilde is such a loverboy!

There was a SWEET littler of 3 gray kittens on Friday. One was adopted while I was there, and I’m not sure if the other two, Brittany and Jeanette, are still available!

3 1/2 year old fluffball Siren definitely lives up to her name, she’s definitely a talker!
Last but not least, we have 2 special rats up for adoption. I didn’t get their names, so I call them gray rat, and black rat. Original, yes?

Here we go…a new and IMPROVED MS Photography! After reviewing my own pricing structure and business model, I have come up with a better system for both myself and my clients. I have decided, upon much deliberation, I will be focusing my business and my energy on photographing people of the poseable variety…seniors, students, models, couples, fashion, and glamour. While I enjoy children and photographing their adorable little selves, I find them too unpredictable for how my artistic brain works. I have come to the conclusion I am much more comfortable being in control of my art, being able to pose a person or persons, communicate well, and feel I get much better results and am in general, happier.
Will you still accept families? Yes, of course, on a limited basis. Current clients will not be turned away, and if I feel the karma between myself and a family is right, I will more than happy to take on the project.
Do you have an age limit? Sort of. I am focusing more on students over the age of 16, but as long as a child takes direction well, or is an aspiring model, dancer, athlete, or the like, I would love to photograph them!
Are you photographing weddings? Yes, yes, and yes! This is one area I do want to dive into more at the current time. So if you know of any newly engaged couples, point them to my website! I also have a new portrait package perfect for couples, engaged or not! (See below)
Has your pricing changed recently? This is also a large change I am making with my business. While I want to attract clients who value my art, I also realize we are in a tough economic time, and want to streamline my pricing and make it affordable for anyone.
